… made from Swiss “Zeugleder”.
“Zeugleder” (military leather) is a hot wax baked special leather, which is made in the old style of the Swiss military. This procedure with a lot of manual work according to the old tradition is only done by Emmeleder, all similar products are manufactured by machine today.
The two robust carabiners provide a firm hold. Suitable as pulling rope for the Davos and Grindelwald sledges. Manufactured by EMME Leder GmbH.

About EMME Leder GmbH
When Beat Fankhauser and his partner Markus Meyer took over the tannery Gerber from an estate in 2003, they turned it into a tannery saddlery, making saddlery the main pillar of the company. They also changed the name to EMME Leder GmbH.
Today the company has 23 employees, of which only four to five are still dedicated to leather production. Today most of the employees work in the saddlery department, where the value chain of leather processing is continued.
