About Ress Kutschen
The company Ress-Kutschen is a handicraft enterprise which can look back on 8 generations of company history. The company was first mentioned in 1696, founded by master wainwright Mathias Ress. At that time carriages and horse carriages were built for daily use.
With each new generation that joined and continued the company, new ideas and innovations were integrated into the field of activity and the product range. The flexible and adaptable company was thus able to maintain its position with great success over the years.
In the late 19th century the production of wooden toboggans, today the main product of the company, began. With more than 300 years of company history, we are still able to manufacture almost all products that have been manufactured over the years.
Today, the company, which is based in Schwebheim, has production facilities for the manufacture of wood and metal products in small and large series, its own saddlery for all kinds of textile work and a large warehouse. On a total area of 4000 sqm 10 permanent employees and up to 15 temporary workers work, depending on seasonal requirements.
