Description
The legendary classic for probably the funniest Swiss tradition, the carefree ride on the Original Davoser sled for the whole family. For good reason, this sled became a synonym for the quality of Swiss products. Then as now, this sled is leading in terms of suitability for everyday use and robustness.

Craftsmanship and innovation, that is our origin and our pride. Since 1930 our company has been located in Sulgen TG on Kirchstrasse. We are a team of versatile professionals and work our raw material wood with pleasure. This enables us to produce high quality products with our expertise. Production and material
The production of sledges and toboggans is based on our core competence, the bending of wood. Since 1930 we have been producing the well-known sledges in Sulgen with selected Swiss ash wood. We use the raw material wood as renewable energy source. Our steam generator for the bending shop as well as the heating for the company building and the neighbouring property are exclusively supplied with energy by a modern wood heating system. Even today, 3R ORIGINAL DAVOSER uses only ash from FSC-certified forests in Eastern Switzerland for the sleds, and we are very proud of this.
Due to the high quality of the choice of wood and the processing, the sled will accompany you for a lifetime. Because our sleds are made of the best Swiss ash wood. Due to the wide steel runners, the gliding ability and the fun of driving is guaranteed. The wood is varnished with a special lacquer which protects the surface from water and dirt.
Care
We recommend drying the sliding surface well after use. You can also preserve or wax the sliding steel for storage before storing the sled. Have the worn sliding surface regrinded or replace it and repair paint damage occasionally.
Safety
Tobogganers and sledgers must also be properly equipped: with ski goggles, braking aid on the feet, helmet, gloves, etc. This is the only way to reduce the risk and ride safely. Further safety tips can be found at the Beratungsstelle für Unfallverhütung BFU and on our website.
